When you work with large amounts of data it is often useful to identify the groups of cells by naming them. The way you can do it is first to:
- Select a range of cells that you want to name and that are related to each other.
- Go to the Name box on the left of the formula bar, Type whatever you want to name it.
Editing
- Go to the Formulas Tab and in the defined groups click the Name Manager.
- A dialog box appears click on the name that you gave it
- You can edit the cell range in the Refers to button and after going to the edit click ok.
- It closes and it takes you back to the Name Manager dialog box and just click close and you are done.
