Summarizing Data That Meets Specific Conditions

Another use that use formulas to display messages when ceratain conditions are met. The type of formula that is neede for this data that meets specific conditions is called a conditional formula. The conditional formula uses the IF function. To create a conditional formula is very easy first step is to:
  1. click the cell to hold the formula and open the insert functiondialog box.
  2. From within the dialog box, select the IF from the list of functions that are available and then click OK.
  3. Now you need for excell to have excell to display messages that indicate (whatever you want it to be) should evaluate the account for a possible rate adjustment.
  4. whenever you put this messages you have to put them in quotation marks.
  5. and press and enter and you are done and just make sure that you type your arguments.
