cells are easy to do depending on what you want to format and most of the tools that you need are available in the home tab. Formating cells is easy first you have to select the cell or cells that you want to format and lets say that you want to make it bold so you select the cells first and the click the bold button that is on the home tab and in the font group.

Things We Remember On The Test

There is not so many things about the test that i remember. Maybe one of the things is to insert functions, and things that we don't even know or haven't seen ever. Not so many things we have seen like all the big words and the word terminology we haven't even touched at all. It was a terrible and not good idea on taking the test because most of the stuff that was on the test we didn't even learned or we had not been thought. Some thing that i remember is the functions that we had to put and it involved like a lot of words and functions that messed me up. This experience i guess it was good but it was just not planned for.

Chapter 6

Entering and Revising data
Entering and Revising data is easy you only have to click on a cell. To fill cells you can use the fill handle and autofill options and fill series.

Series are done when you drag the fill handle. The fill handle will replace contents on the cells based on the one that you started on.

Autocomplete is another technique that you can uss to enter similar values. Also you can pick from Drop down list. Which enables you to chose a value from existing values in a column.

There is also another handy feature that is the autofill options and appears next to the data that you add to a worksheet.

Moving Data Within a Workbook
There is lots of ways to move a cell but there is a quick method by clicking it. It makes the cell active.

There is not a limit on selecting cells you can select a whole column and on the paste options you can move it to another place.

Finding and Replacing Data
It basically tells you that when there is lots of data in a worksheet and you need to find a word or replace words there is a quick process and that is to click the Find and Replace and a dialog box appears and your set to go.

If you want to replace or format a word then you can click the format button and click either replace or replace all.

Correcting and Expanding Upon Worksheet Data
There is a quick way to correct instances of words by using the Spelling checker button to correct words that might be mispelled. Or also you can look fr the meaning of a word.

Also if you want to translate a word to another language you can do so by clicking the translate button on the Proofing group on the review tab.

Defining a Table
You can add tables to a worksheet and also you can display data in it.

Excell 2007 can also create a table based on an existing data list. You just have to select a cell wherever you want to add data.

You can also add rows and columns to a table you can also remove them if you don't want them by dragging the resize handle.

When you add the Total Row, Excell creates a formula and calculates the sum of the values in the rightmost table column. You can also change the table names by clicking any names in the table and then go to the design tab that appears and then in the properties group.

If for any reason you want to convert your table back to normal range cells. You can do so by clicking any cell in the table and then in the design tab in the tools group click the Convert to range.

Haiti Fundraiser

The poorest elementary schools in the region helped raised money for the Haiti tragedy of the last week’s earthquake. The students from Campestre Elementary Schoolgot together to raise money and went around the area and knocked on doors and waited outside the Big 8 store holding jars to raise money. The children collected thousands of pennies and much more. The school principal Isabel Andresen said that It was hard to believe that the, school with the highest percentage of children receiving free lunch and reduced meals could raise more than $1,000. According to the news over the earthquake of January 12 destroyed entire neighborhoods and an estimated toll of 200,000 thousand deaths. This is very important to do a fundraiser to help people get back to their normal life’s is an important thing to do because what if things like that happen in the US we are going to need help and by helping others it builds bonds of friendships between countries and it is also important because innocent people that had valuable stuff and family members is gone forever and people are in need of money and most important for food and a shelter where they can live.
